Asthmatics and the elderly at risk when the haze returns

What can you do if you have young children, elderly or asthmatics in your family when the haze returns?.

Prevention is always cheaper and less stressful than the cure, so you can actually do something today. You have to nourish the lungs and clear up the phlegm and mucus, making it easier for breathing and getting enough oxygen into the lungs and ultimately the heart and brains. Some herbal and health supplements that have been helping Asians for the last 10 years include:-

a) RESP ( RRP - RM 57) - 100 capsules contains chickweed, comfrey root, marshmallow root, mullein leaf, pan pien lien, and slippery elm bark - all important herbs to strengthen the lungs and clear phlegm and mucus that obstructs air passages.

b) LIFEPATH CHEWIES (RRP - RM 77 ) - 60 chewables containing bioflavonoids, bee pollen, milk thistle, gingko biloba, grape seed extract, rutin, bilberry, enridole 3-c and quercetin. (Suitable for kids aged 2 to 9)

c) DAILY PRODUCE 24 ( RRP - RM 127) - 120 capsules contains 24 antioxidant concentrates from plum, cranberry, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, bilberry, cherry, apricot, papaya, orange, grape, pineapple, parsley, kale, spinach, wheat grass, brussels sprout, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, beet, carrot, cabbage and garlic. (Suitable for kids above 9 years)

d) SUPERCHLOROPHYLL (RRP - RM67) - 92gm concentrate alfalfa powder to clean the liver and blood, so you can carry oxygen efficiently throughout the body..

The young, the sick and elderly can certainly be better prepared to overcome the haze, with the Resp, Lifepath Chewies or Daily Produce 24 and Superchlorophyll, depending on their age.

Prevention to enjoy good health costs money, but you pay for sickness with more money, time, worry and stress. The choice is clear.

Some supplements I take daily

Friends ask me why I look good, have lots of energy and have so smooth skin. Well here are the supplements I use - some daily and others weekly. I've included some comments on why I take these supplements too, so you can have an idea.

2. Perform - 2 capsules twice daily - hormone regulator - to protect my prostate and high energy. My girls take it to regulate their menstrual cycles and to stop menstrual cramps.

3. Glucosamine - 1 capsule once nightly - to protect my knee cartilage that was operated on

4. BMC - 2 capsules one daily - to nourish my bones and cartilage

5. RESP - 2 capsules daily - to nourish my lungs as I smoke. My girls use this for their Asthma.

6. ChloroSpirulina - 1 tablet twice daily - for my vitamin/mineral supplement. My girls use this daily too.

7. Salmon Omega 3 oil - 1 softgel daily - to noursih eyes, skin & brain and as anti-inflamatory. My girls use it to nourish their brains with EPA and DHA.

8. Superchlorophyll - once daily - to cleanse and cool down body and as alkaline balance. My girls drink this daily too to help with constipation.

9. BiosLife - 1 sachet daily - to maintain healthy cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels and also keeps stomach trim, so I can eat, eat and eat.

11. Calcium Magnesium Complex - 1-2 times weekly - to relax muscles, sleep better, and maintain strong bones. My kids use this to grow tall.

How much does it cost me to stay healthy?. About RM380 monthly or what a smoker, a drinker or a gambler spends monthly.

Its a good investment in my own body and it's certainly cheaper to prevent a disaster, rather than treat a disease, don't you think?

Sinusitis - your safe & effective solution

Sinusitis - your safe & effective solution

This information is extracted from our Blueprints
for Healthy Living manual.

Symptoms of Sinusitis:-

Sinusitis presents with congestion, nasal discharge,
inability to breath air through the nose, pressure
around the eyes, frequent tearing, nasal sounding
voice, headaches, fever, chills, bad breath, post
nasal drip. and you will feel worse when you
lean your head over.

Causes:

Bacterial growth takes place in the sinuses when
it is unable to drain. This blockage is caused by
an obstructed sinus outlet. The sinus tissues are
easily irritated and swell substantially, blocking
the draining of mucous. Colds, flu, allergies or
sore throats can transfer bacteria to the sinuses
where they take residence and grow.

Other contributing factors are:-
sudden changes in pressure, dental infections,
swimming, smoking, fumes, smoke, a broken
nose, asthma, sensitivity to birth control pills,
and aspirin can cause the sinuses to close and
toxin buildup that may contribute to sinusitis.

Complementary therapies

Cleanse the colon with a mild laxative tea and
parasite cleanser. Cleanse the respiratory tract
and drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of purified
water daily to help loosen up the thick mucous.

To stop the bacterial growth in the Sinuses and
throat, you should bring the body back from
acidic state to alkaline state so that the bacteria
cannot grow. An alkaline body boosts your
immune system to permanently prevent another
bacterial infection.

To loosen the mucous and to allow the swollen
tissues to shrink, you could do a little exercise in
a steamy atmosphere.
