Mamogram Subsidy for Malaysians

In the 2007 Malaysian Budget recently announced, most Malaysian ladies aged 40-69 qualfy for the yearly Mammogram RM50 subsidy, arranged through the LPPKN or Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.

Check out the link to see if you qualify for this subsidy and get your self tested. This yearly mammogram is not a substitute for your monthly breast self examination.

PS: If you are between 18-39, you are advised to still do a monthly self examination. Preferably using the Bse Pad, to enhance your sense of touch and to feel under the skin for unusual lumps that are painful to touch.
